Our company is Omega Solutions. Our motivation comes from the cruciality of recycling and insufficient recycling dynamics in Turkey. To explain briefly:

 

Recycling is the process of separating, collecting and remanufacturing or converting used or waste products into new materials. The recycling process involves a series of steps to produce new products. Recycling helps extend the life and usefulness of something that has already served its initial purpose by producing something that is useable. Recycling has a lot of benefits and importance not only to us humans but especially to our planet.

 

Although there is susceptibility, there are not enough substructures in Turkey. According to D.I.E records, per capita solid waste in Turkey is 0.6 kg and per year 28.4 million solid wastes are produced. Only %10 solid wastes are recycled in Turkey but in Europe story is different. In European Countries there are many projects and firms to support recycling activities. Also citizen of European Countries are forced to recycle by their governments.

 

Therefore several EU countries are already managing to recycle over 50% of packaging waste. In brief, our primarily aim is to contribute Turkish Recycling Industry by offering technical and practical solutions.
